Facebook announced this week that it would provide a number of ways for its users to support their favorite teams and track the Olympics news they care about. To do so, the networking site has launched a special dedicated section in News Feed. Previously, Twitter also introduced followable Moments and other means of tuning into Olympics news via its network.

The social media site again brings profile frames that allow setting a custom frame around a Profile picture on Facebook. The new Olympics frames are branded with the Rio 2016 logo while also allowing you to show your support for your country or favorite teams. These will arrive by the end of the week.

MSQRD, a recent Facebook acquisition, is a photo and video filter app rolling out country flag masks that you can overlay on your photos or videos starting today. The app earlier this summer also expanded to support live broadcasting on Facebook. With the app, you can show your friends what you look like before and after you have done your Olympics mask.

The debut of a personalized section in News Feed is the most interesting addition to the collection of Olympics-related content on Facebook. From August 1st to 5th, Facebook will greet users with an Olympics illustration and message at the top of their News Feed.

If you click through, you’ll be taken to a page that offers a “dynamic” mix of Olympics-themed search results and conversations. There you can also explore Events, Live Videos from Rio, and more that are personalized to you.

Inside the Olympics Games News, Feed fans can enjoy play-by-play coverage of sports matches and view comments from friends. They can also see experts’ and analysts’ views and check out other games and play information. The social site has plan send out a similar greeting on August 21st for the Closing Ceremony.

This page is similarly difficult to find if Facebook doesn’t place it in front of you in some sort of obvious way.
