The upgraded version of Windows 10, which is the Anniversary Update, encountered a few issues. After the launch of this update, some of the users reported to Microsoft facing the problem of freezing when signing in. Immediately after, Microsoft too investigated the issue and provided a fix to this issue. One of Microsoft’s Forum moderators replied to the posts answering the fix.

This issue was encountered to be with users who had moved the app information to a second Drive. The update released on 31 August 2016 fixes this issue. Now it is automatically applied to your operating systems when you install the Anniversary Update. But some users experienced failures in webcams after the Anniversary Update. Users using Amazon Kindle crashed their PCs when they plugged their e-readers into their computers via USBs. This fix isn’t resolved yet.

The software giant announced that the major freezing problem is now fixed. If still the freezing problem persists, and if you are a user having two logical drives and moved your app info to another drive, then you have to uninstall the Anniversary update first. Once removed, re-install by going to Windows 10 download page using Windows Update Assistant. Then you can add the upgraded version by clicking on Update now.

You can also resolve this problem by signing in if you have a second administrator account on your PC, and you can install the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Update released on 31 August 2016 once your installation is complete on our PC reboot the system and again sign in.

Uninstalling can be done using the recovery console or the settings app from safe mode. Even if you have problems now, Microsoft’s supporting agents can be contacted by the Contact Support.
