Search engine giant Google released search trends from April 24-30. Last week, the big news in the search engine was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake and demonstration in Baltimore. Searches also looked for superheroes in the ring, movie, and racehorses.

Our web is comprised of 60 trillion individual pages and is constantly growing. With its unique algorithms, Google crawls these pages and delivers the best possible results to the searchers. In every second, an average of 38,580 searches are done on Google.

Government authorities imposed a curfew to handle protesters who came down to the streets against police brutality. People were curious to know “Why is there a curfew in Baltimore?”, “What is the National Guard?” and how this had happened and took Google to find their answer.

The much-awaited boxing between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao last week in Las Vegas was one of the most trending searches on Google.

The match is cited as the “fight of the century,” where two superheroes of the ring were ready to put their gloves on, and people around the world typed to get answers to the questions like “Where can I watch the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight?” and “How much will Mayweather make from the fight?

Last week “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron” was released in theatres worldwide, and searchers turned their Google on to find information about their favorite superheroes and where to see them in theatres. As per a Google report, more than 500,000 searches people searched for the movie on Thursday.
