The long wait is over. Say hello to the Galaxy S6 edge+ Samsung’s new smartphone, which was launched to the global audience today with doubled features.
The new device, which the company has doubled down curved craze, comes with increased 4GB RAM and 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen. The Galaxy S6 edge Plus makes the edge experience even bigger to provide a more immersive multimedia experience.
JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics, on the launch of Galaxy S6 edge+ says, “At Samsung, we believed in the promise that large screen smartphones could actively address some major consumers pain points by providing users with a better viewing experience and more productivity on-the-go.”
The smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes with 32 or 64 GB storage capacity. Besides that, there is a 16 MP primary camera and 5 MP front camera powered with a 3000 mAh battery.
The device will be available in four color variants- White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium- and to be shipped starting from August- though the company has not announced its pricing.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ features 4K(UHD) video filming and Live Broadcast, which lets users instantly live stream Full HD video straight from the phone to any individual or group of contacts through YouTube Live. It also supports Side Sync, helps users to connect both wireless and wired PC-smartphone, and lets them use multiple devices at a time
