Remembering multiple passwords for all your accounts is a painful task that Google is easing for you. Now you can log in to more service providers’ accounts using a Google account.

The search engine giant, in a blog post lists the number of application integrated with the SAML and revealed they are adding support of SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) for more than 15 popular SaaS providers.

In the complete rollout, which will take up to three days, the end users will find pre-configured SAML 2.0 support for Microsoft Office 365, Facebook at Work, Panorama9, New Relic, Concur, Coupa, Box, and Slack, among others. Google already supports hundreds of apps in the Google Apps Marketplace and OpenID Connect through SAML 2.0 SSO using Google Apps credentials.

SAML-2.0

Sometimes it becomes very difficult to remember multiple passwords for each account, and the feature could be very beneficial. Last year Google launched support for Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0, enabling users to sign in to enterprise cloud applications via Single Sign-On (SSO) using OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity.

Millions of users worldwide sign into their accounts without providing separate login details with Google Identity for all of their SaaS/IT applications. The OpenID Connect feature works more securely when your accounts are integrated with your mobile phone, increasing your password strength.

The blog post also writes, “Our Google Smart Lock features are available to all Google Accounts, including those used at work, and we provide identity services and enterprise mobility management (EMM) as part of Google Apps for Work at no additional cost.”
