Google Adds New Features in Google Sheets for Android App

Google has made your Google Sheets a whole lot better – now you can insert charts, change their types, and move, resize, and delete them in the Google Sheets Android app. There were not many features in charts earlier – now, you can edit and format a chart in a number of different ways to display it how you want.

With the new release, Android users in their Google Sheet can update and even add new titles to the charts if they really don’t have one. Using Google Sheets on the go can be a useful feature. Alongside the ability to add and change the titles of charts, sheet users can now also add and change the titles of the X-axis or Y-axis lines too.

Another important feature Google has added in the updated version is the ability to set where you would like to put the legend on the chart. To do that, you need to go to the Quick Edit mode by opening a spreadsheet in Google Docs; here, you can change the font style, its size, define the data series color, and locate its position in the documents.

Here are the new features you can see in your Google Sheets for Android app

  • Add or change a chart’s title.
  • Add or change the titles of a chart’s X and Y axes.
  • Change the color of a series in a chart.
  • Specify where the chart’s legend should be located.

Starting from today, global worldwide users can use these new features in their Android phones, all you need to do is just update your app from Google Play Store.
