Blackberry is back again with its flagship latest Android-powered smartphone, the Blackberry DTEK50. This is the second smartphone running on the Android operating system by the Canadian tech major since it launched its first device, Priv, back in 2015.

As we secure our money and home, there is also a need to secure our smartphones as it consists of our pictures, messages, logged-in accounts, and location. The company claims Blackberry DTEK50 is the most secure smartphone as compared to other Android smartphones available in the market.

The device comes with a 5.2” scratch-resistant full HD display, capable of displaying 16 million colors. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with 3GB of RAM. If we talk about the storage capacity, the device offers 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to a whopping 2TB via a microSD card.

BlackBerry is mostly renowned for its security and keypad. The DTEK50 sports a BlackBerry Intelligent Keyboard, capable of understanding your type pattern, and will provide you with word suggestions in three languages. In terms of camera, the next-gen smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera with Dual Tone LED Flash along with an 8MP front camera. Both rear and front cameras are capable of recording 1080p HD video with a built-in Multi-frame Low Light Enhancement feature.

Many business employees use this range of Blackberry smartphones which also provide some security features related to securely storing all the passwords and log-in information and security for accessing users’ contacts and location.

But not only security, but the DTEK50 also runs on the latest Marshmallow 6.0.1, available with all the features of Android. The BlackBerry DTEK50 packs a non-removable 2610mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 2.0.
