LinkedIn is business-oriented social networking service mainly known for connections between job seekers and recruiters. On 22 September, it introduced a newly redesigned version of its website.
The new version of the website comes with more enhanced designing and includes the new messaging features, boots, and a simplified feed. The Microsoft-owned company also has an educational product called LinkedIn Learning, aimed at Organizations, Teams, Governments, and Higher education.
Ryan Roslansky, the company’s VP of consumer product, said, “The current version of LinkedIn website feels very disjointed compared with the most recently-redesigned mobile app.
The company promised that it would be easier to navigate with better search features for the users. The new messaging bots feature of this website focuses on scheduling –executives previewed that will let users to arrange and schedule meeting with their connections via bots.
This is an area where we’re going to be able to do some really interesting things with Microsoft,” Weiner said, saying their plan is to focus on “specific use cases” to start. “Over time when you start to introduce the Microsoft library of capabilities there are some really interesting things that are going to happen.”

Further, the professional social networking company unveiled an all-new educational product called LinkedIn Learning, the product of LinkedIn’s $1.5 billion acquisition of lynda.com last year. It will be available to LinkedIn’s premium and enterprise users with the features combined with LinkedIn and lynda.com’s library of educational videos.
For the future scope, the company is looking for contextual messaging features that will make it easier to find the appropriate person according to your profile or search results or will suggest you those contacts.
