OnePlus, a Chinese manufacturer, had an, announcement that it will launch its new snapdragon 821 powered smartphone on November 15. This upcoming model will be known as the OnePlus 3T, the enhanced version of OnePlus 3.
The Company said that there is snapdragon 821 chipset is embedded in the device. Although, there is no confirmation about the release date yet. The company tweeted, hinting that the upcoming smartphone may be launched on November.
The tweet also shows that the Snapdragon 821 will be clocked at 2.35GHz, offering 10% better performance than the Snapdragon 820. Snapdragon 821 will also support the Snapdragon VR SDK that allows for the Daydream app as well as dual phase detection. This will improve autofocus speed compared to standard phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF). Some guessing says that the design of this product will remain the same as the original OnePlus 3 excepting that it could run Android 7.0 (Nougat) because of new processor.
Some more information says that the OnePlus 3T sports a newer Sony IMX395 20-megapixel imaging sensor with a wide aperture f/1.7 lens. Other internals might be the same as their predecessor. And it will also pack a bigger battery (3,300 mAh), a 128GB storage version.
If some rumors are believed, the OnePlus 3T will have a price tag of $479, $80 more than its predecessor.
OnePlus 3T will start shipping on November 15, Tuesday at 1 PM EST (11:30 PM IST) as stated earlier.
