Finally, One Plus 3T, the latest flagship of the One Plus Series, launched in India this week. The latest smartphone from the company was first launched in the United States and Canada on November 21, and a week later, on November 28, it appeared in Europe.
Though the phone launched in India a couple of days before, it will start selling on Wednesday, December 14. As per the report, One Plus is not going to sell 3T from its own website directly; rather, the product will be available exclusively on Amazon India.
The latest smartphone has more upgraded features than its predecessor, One Plus 3. One Plus 3T has the inclusion of a faster SoC, a higher resolution front camera, a larger capacity battery, and increased inbuilt storage. Moreover, it has also changed the color variant – the company removed the Graphite color option and added a new Gunmetal variant along with the Soft Gold color similar to One Plus 3. But Gunmetal color variant will only be available for those opting 128 GB storage option.
The Chinese company also revealed its structural features and said that the One Plus 3T features an anodized aluminum metal unibody design, a fingerprint sensor on the home button, and an Alert Slider. It will run on OxygenOS-based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and sports a 5.5-inch optic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The smart device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with two 1.6GHz Kryo cores and two 2.35GHz Kryo cores coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
Furthermore, it is also good in terms of cameras as the device comes with a 16MP rear camera with Sony IMX 298 Sensor. The most notable feature to watch is its front camera – as it is similar to the rear camera, while the One Plus 3 had only an 8MP camera.
More interestingly, it also upgraded its battery – powered by a 3400 mAh battery which the company claims will give long life in only 30 minutes of charging. One Plus 3T has a USB 2.0 Type-C charging port, dual-nano SIM slot, and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The new One Plus 3T’s 64 GB model is priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 34,999 for the 128GB storage model. Both the variants will be available starting 12.01 am IST on December 14 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
