Companies like Lenovo and Dell are already the buzz name for their upcoming products and able to rotate this week at CES 2017. Toshiba makes a similar move and launched a brand new Portege X20W, a 2-in-1 convertible with Windows 10 and a 360-degree rotating hinge. This new device is specially designed for mobile professionals, educators, and students.

The New Portege X20W features a 360-degree, dual-action hinge that allows this device to transform from a performance-oriented notebook into a premium digital linking tablet by rotating the display. This device measures 15.4mm thin and weighs less than 2.5 pounds and comes with good battery life for 16 hours of usage.

Cortana will be able to catch everything that the user says since multi-dimensions mics have been included with the device. On the other hand, IR cameras will allow users to log in easily via Windows Hello. It provides additional security through a fingerprint scanner and Windows Ink for proper pen interaction.

A sturdy 30-degree dual-action hinge enables smooth transitions into five core viewing modes-Laptop, Tablet, Presentation, and Audience. Tackle the day with a slim, high-performance laptop; flip the screen to conduct presentations created through an engaging tablet and digital inking experience. When changing modes, the laptop smartly switches the system settings and uses a smart-locking feature to protect the keyboard and prevent mishaps.

Following are the other features of the Portege X20W:

1. Harman Kardon stereo speakers and DTS sound software.

2. A USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, and headphone/mics combo port.

3. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 offers a higher level of damage resistance.

4. A 12.5-inch diagonal, Full HD 1920 X 1080, multi-touch wide viewing angle display packs over 2 million pixels onto the screen.

5. It includes TruPen using Wacom Feel technology, which can detect 2,048 levels of pressure.

6. Compatibility with two docking solutions- the Toshiba WiGig and Toshiba Thunderbolt 3 Dock, which will be available later his quarter.

7. The pre-configured Portege X20W (Slate Gray) will be available soon at Microsoft Store and microsoftstore.com.
