Stop Background Services:

These extra features require more CPU cycles to run and make the device run slower. To block animation and wallpapers you first need to enable Developer Options on your device. To do this, go to Settings of your device and press multiple times on About Phone option until it displays a message confirming that the Developer Options is enabled.
Now go to Developer Options and scroll down to find three different options including Window Animation Scale, Transitions Animation Scale, and Animation Duration Scale. Tap on each of these options and turn them off. Keep Developer Options enabled as disabling it, will reset the settings to the prior stage.
