A year back smartphone launched named Galaxy Note 7 was a big failure because of its faulty battery. To overcome this failure, Samsung has planned to launch its new smartphone, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S8.

It is noticeable that Samsung unveils its new smartphone at the IFA tech show in Berlin every year. So, as per the Samsung launch tradition, the new smartphone is expected to be unveiled in August. But, according to some other sources, the smartphone will be unveiled in the second half of August.

The recent speculation from Korean media OSEN says that Galaxy Note 8 will be available in two variants: one with 64 GB and the other with 128 GB of storage. According to leaks and rumors, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge Super AMOLED curved Infinity display with an 18.5:9 ratio and an Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 CPU. It consists of 6 GB of RAM and is fueled with 3,300mAh non-removable battery. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The new phone from the South Korean tech giant supports S Pen and consists of an improved Iris scanner. It sports a screen embedded with a fingerprint scanner and is a built-in ‘Bixby’ AI assistant. The connectivity feature consists of USB-C connectivity merged with a 35mm headphone jack. This smartphone also sports a Vertical dual-lens rear-facing camera.

Talking about prices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will cost between $1,000 (around £770, AU$1,300) and $1,200 (roughly £920, AU$1,560), thereby making Samsung Galaxy Note 8 the most expensive Galaxy Note to date.
