OnePlus 5 OxygenOS

As you all know every coin has two sides. Similarly, OnePlus 5 is an amazing Smartphone but with a list of various faults. The first fault of the list is named jelly scrolling that is displayed when you are scrolling your page up and down. The latest issue of this Smartphone is with its audio.

The another problem that can be included in the list is that OnePlus 5 reboots your phone when user dials 911 instead of linking the user with an emergency service. This issue can’t be ignored and has to be taken into consideration. One of the Reddit users unveiled this issue while he saw a building on fired and tried to call on emergency helpline number. A Reddit user provided video evidence of the problem after failing to connect to emergency services to report a building fire.

Based on the information provided, Canadian OnePlus 5 users don’t seem to be affected — attempts to dial 911 go through every time. At the same time, not every American user has reported failure, either: some calls appear to go through the first time, while others take a few tries and eventually connect to the operator.

According to the comments on Reddit thread, it is observed that not all OnePlus 5 phones were facing the same problem. In a statement to The Next Web, OnePlus said it’s looking into the issue:

“We have contacted the customer and are currently looking into the issue. We ask anyone experiencing a similar situation to contact us at support@oneplus.net.”

We expect that company finds out some solution to resolve this problem though such issues are unexpected. In the last 24 hours, OnePlus has “been in touch with the customer and have tested a software update that has resolved the issue.”

If you are the user of OnePlus 5 Smartphone and you are facing the same problem when you call 911 and your phone reboots then it is advisable for you to contact to OnePlus immediately.
