The world’s most powerful rocket ship, the Falcon Heavy of SpaceX, was featured in a launch animation on Friday. The launch is about to take place 4 months after. Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, released an animation in one of his Instagram posts showing his idea for the launch.

The animation does not contain any special effects or dramatic background music. In fact, these weren’t missed, as the launch process itself is amazing. The beginning shows the lift-off of Falcon Heavy. Right after, two booster rockets of the rocket ship separate and return to controlled landings on Earth. These rockets would return as they are and be ready for future mission preparations.

After the landings, the animation shows the Falcon Heavy in space, getting its center core separated from the main module. This part, too, begins returning to earth. As per reports received, the entire process shown is quite beautiful. According to Addario Strange of Mashable, if the real launch goes as exactly as shown in the animated video, it will help enlarge the profile of Musk and SpaceX.

Future of Falcon Heavy

Falcon Heavy includes the designs to carry humans to Mars and Moon. Therefore, the success of the first test launches will encourage future manned missions using the rocket ship. Having said that, Musk knows that it is easier said than done, considering all risks.

The rocket ship is twice the thrust of the presently flying largest rocket. It is also the 2/3 thrust of the Saturn V Moon rocket. Thus, there is a lot to work on before the coming November launch.
