We all know, and I always say, that users are the lifeline of social sites and media. Facebook, known as the monarch of social sites, has never lost an opportunity to satisfy its user’s ever-increasing demands. It has proved how dynamically it can upgrade its features to make social networking users the best place. Facebook has been thus carrying out a test on its new feature in order to provide a better experience for News Feed.

Now Facebook has carried out a test on this feature known as Explore in Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Slovakia, Serbia, Guatemala, and Cambodia. At the same time, the company clearly stated that it has no plans to carry out this test further in other countries.

Facebook has said that people have suggested that they wanted separate space for an easier way to see posts from friends and family. So, in order to improve the experience, the feature Explore will have a dedicated space for people to keep up with their friends and family and another separate space.

Sources state that this test has been specially performed to determine whether people prefer to have separate personal and public content places. Facebook will review and collect the user’s experience to understand if it’s an idea worth pursuing.

Unfortunately, some people misguided this newsfeed and concluded that Facebook would be charging for pages on Facebook to pay for all their distribution in News Feed or Explore. But the company stated that it has no intention of doing so.

Finally, a spokesperson from Facebook stated, “It’s also important to know this test in these six countries and is different than the version of Explore that has rolled out to most people. Outside of the above countries, Explore is a complementary feed of popular articles, videos, and photos automatically customized for each person based on content that might be interesting to them. We’ve heard from people that they want an easy way to discover relevant content from pages they haven’t connected with yet. While Explore includes content from relevant pages, posts from pages that people like or follow will continue to appear in News Feed.”

Facebook has been conducting similar tests to make its users feel the best. The company has earned its goodwill in no time just because of all the efforts which they put in for their users. They keep upgrading their site with surprising features, which makes them stand separate from the crowd.
