Samsung released Bixby Voice digital assistant a worldwide couple of months ago. Till now, it supports only two languages, English and Korean. Samsung is looking forward to expanding that list of languages. The Chinese language will be included very soon, followed by a number of other additional languages.

A beta test for Bixby Voice Chinese language support has recently been launched by Samsung China. More than 15000 participants have already been recruited by Samsung China for this beta test, and the company urged participants to use Bixby Voice frequency. Currently, Bixby Voice is supported on the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and the Galaxy Note 8 only. Samsung believes this initiative will help Bixby to get a profound understanding of the Chinese language.

Expectations were really high in China as people were keen to try Bixby Voice in their native language.

Samsung is offering the participants incentives to provide valuable feedback. One can use the gamification interface of Bixby to earn points. Providing constructive feedback to improve the digital assistant gets you points. The top 900 users on the basis of earned points will receive 100 yuan per point. This amount is transferable into payment cards like Jingdong.

The beta test is expected to be concluded by 29th November. The Bixby Voice Chinese support is anticipated to be launched officially soon after that.
