Nov 3, 2017, 9:30 pm

Do not know iFixit? Mainly, they are in charge of opening all the devices to determine what is inside and how easy or difficult they are to repair. A couple of weeks had in their hands to Google Pixel 2 XL and today is the turn of the new iPhone X.

One of the things that have impressed most is that Apple has placed in this new design two batteries in the interior, forming an L and thus be able to better cover the energy consumption of the new 5.8-inch OLED screen, with more battery than the iPhone 8 Plus, in a smaller body.

On the other hand, Apple has managed to double the motherboard in two to save the space they need. The iPhone X inside is completely different from the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

Another interesting detail is the position of the rear camera. Since everyone will have noticed that they are now in an upright position and this is because if they placed it in the horizontal position, its components came up with those of FaceID.

As for repairability, the iPhone X has achieved 6 points out of 10, the same ones that have achieved phones such as Google Pixel 2 and iPhone 8, being more repairable than Samsung’s latest phones. But beware, use a case that the screen It is somewhat expensive and much more fragile, which can be easily broken on almost any drop.
