After several confusions, Motorola finally officially announced November 13 to be the launch date of Moto X4 and declared Flipkart to be the exclusive and only seller of this device in India.
Ayyappan Rajagopal, Senior Director, Smartphones at Flipkart, appreciated Motorola wholeheartedly while saying,
Flipkart’s partnership with Motorola is set to achieve new heights with the exclusive launch of the Moto X4. Motorola phones have always ticked the right boxes and greatly appealed to our large and growing customer base with their design and performance.
Moto X4 is, as usual, the flagship device of Motorola. The inclusion of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa support among the new features sounds impressive. A new feature named Moto Key will be there as well. It is basically an inbuilt app for managing passwords and Bluetooth support for four different devices simultaneously.
Moto X4 comes with an anodized aluminum frame and a 3D rear contoured design with Corning Gorilla Glass on both its front and back. Under the hood, a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. A 32 GB internal storage variant paired with 3GB of RAM is also expected to be released. The 5.2-inch LTS IPS display has a Full HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels along with 424ppi pixel density. Moto X4 is dust and water-resistant and thus has achieved the IP68 rating.

Moto X4 has a dual-camera setup, including a 12 MP dual autofocus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 120° field of view. This combination helps to shoot photos with the ‘Bokeh’ effect. The front camera is a 16-megapixel snapper with an f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras have flashes alongside them.
Moto X4 is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery which supports fast charging. It runs the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The usual features like the fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz), GPS, GLONASS, 4G LTE, and FM radio support are present in the device as well.
Any sort of details regarding the price of the device is yet to be officially declared, though.
