The bezel-less trend pioneered by Xiaomi is on course to be an industry standard with thick bezels gradually moving towards extinction. Panasonic is the new brand that takes up the trend via its Eluga C smartphone that’s being prepped to release on November 29.
Panasonic confirmed the full-screen phone release to happen this month-end via an official teaser photo that was first noted by ePrice.
Well, there is not much else to report right now regarding the specs but the report stated that Panasonic Eluga C would feature a ‘three-sided edge-to-edge display’ that is the same as Sharp Aquos smartphones.
As per the teasers released, Eluga C will be having a cut similar to that of iPhone X with highly diminished bezels at the top. A fingerprint sensor will be embedded on the physical home button below the display, along with the selfie camera and LED flash like in Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
On the OS front, the Eluga C will run Android 7.0 Nougat, and the Arbo AI assistant of Panasonic can be integrated as well.
