The iMac Pro is one of the two products promised by Apple to get released in 2017. HomePod, the other one was previously delayed into early 2018. Schiller confirmed that iMac Pro would definitely not share the same fate.

The developer community was not really pleased with the recent releases from Apple. Developers did express their frustration regarding the lack of powerful options being provided by Apple. They heavily criticized the MacBook Pro. Apple responded by promising to release a new Mac Pro and introduce an iMac Pro as well.

The details of the iMac Pro is announced till now. Apart from being powered by the Xeon processors and boasting a splendid 5K display, it will also include a Radeon Vega GPU.

Apple has continued its latest trend of giving an early access to its devices to certain YouTubers, which started with iPhone X. Marques Brownlee has released one of the very first videos. A black lightning cable for charging the black keyboard comes with the iMac Pro, both of them being exclusive to this computer.

Jonathan Morrison’s video takes a look at Geekbench scores. More videos are expected to emerge in the next few hours.

Vincent Laforet’s video provides details about iMac Pro’s performance in various video editing apps, including Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. Craig Hunter has included some additional performance tests on his blog as well.
