Last week, a leaked photo disclosed a Nokia phone featuring the model number TA-1054. The smartphone has received the 3C certification and recently it has been approved by TENAA in China. As per speculations, this is the smartphone that will release in 2018 as the second-gen version of Nokia 6.
The images released by TENAA showcase the certification tag and the phone bearing a full-screen display. The original Nokia 6 was released back in January and it was said that HMD Global is working on the successor model.
The original Nokia 6 packs a fingerprint reader mounted on the front along with a 16:9 display. But its successor is likely to have the fingerprint reader at the rear, as suggested in one of TENAA’s images. The model further seems to have the 18:9 display.
The images do not show any capacitive buttons, telling us that the phone will come up with on-screen controls. Nokia 6 (2018) also hosts a downward-stretched camera module at the rear just like on the Nokia 5. The fingerprint sensor is right below the LED flash.
