Sony Xperia XZ Premium Users Complain About Malfunctions After Oreo Upgrade

Multiple operations and their malfunctions in Sony Xperia XZ Premium, XZs, and XZ phones, such as the volume and camera buttons, are not working, sometimes alternately and at other times simultaneously. A draining battery, UI lag, and device overheating have been observed by their users since the Oreo upgrade.

The technical issues regarding the volume button imply that sound functions cannot be controlled while listening to music or during calls. Users of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium have noticed that immediately after the installation of Android 8.0. Did these issues become temporarily fixed with its consequent update and then break down with the next? Some symptoms of these problems triggered by the Oreo update also comprise increased battery drainage, UI lag, and overheating.
