Tesla Motors had introduced new AI-based Tesla autowipers for Autopilot 2 car which users found innovative and at the same time, complex. This system works by utilizing vehicle’s neural network and cameras to detect if moisture is hitting the vehicle’s windshield. In spite of such resourceful feature, many users reported issues regarding this.

One of the Model 3 users shared his experience where he mentioned that when doors are opened in the middle of the downpour, it at once triggers the car’s AI-based Tesla autowipers. This action resulted, the compact electric sedan to dump the water accumulated in the windshield into the car directly over the driver.
