Fitbit Announces Ionic Smartwatch, Flyer Wireless Headphone, and Aria 2 Smart Scale inĀ India

Fitbit has recently uncovered the Ionic smartwatch in India, along with a pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones called Flyer and Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale. All the major retailers in India such as Reliance Digital, Helios, Croma, and other online retail platforms are to showcase these fresh wearables across the country starting in February 2018. These wearables are offered in three color combinations: silver-gray with blue-gray clasp, burnt orange with blue band, and smoke gray with charcoal clasp. The prices are fixed at Rs 22,990 for Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Area 2, and Fitbit Flyer each at Rs 9,990.

Fitbit Ionic smartwatch boasts of a strong aluminum build with interchangeable bands and many fitness-based innovative new attributes such as a new SpO2 sensor allowing Fitbit “to track deeper health insights”. To add to this list is its water resistance up to 50 meters complementing its robust build, inbuilt GPS for area-mapping, on-wrist personal coaching through a new app called Fitbit Coach, heart rate monitoring to keep a tab on the health of the user, and music storage option for over 300 tracks for entertainment purpose.

All the same, apart from these special fitness features, the Fitbit Ionic also offers basic fitness functions such as keeping track of the user’s cardio fitness level and sleep tracking. This state-of-the-art smartwatch provides a guarantee with a long battery life of 5 days. Moreover, the Fitbit smartwatch is the first of its kind to be powered with Fitbit OS and will additionally provide several health and fitness apps for its users.
