Twitter, like many other Android apps, has been known to regularly update its features and formats. The latest among these updates may be tweaks in Twitter’s ‘sharing’ buttons. The app has apparently started running server-side tests featuring a new three-dot share button at the bottom of the tweets.

In the test version, Twitter has decongested the arrow menu to a tweet’s top-right by relocating the sharing options present there to the new three-dot share button. The arrow menu in this version comprises of limited options like “Pin to Profile”, “Delete Tweet”, and “Mute Conversation”. The new Twitter share button, dedicated solely to sharing, has options like “Share via direct message” and “Share tweet via”. Through this button, Twitter will now be connected to other social media apps.

Apart from a new Twitter share button, Twitter seems to also be testing with ideas of how to reach out to more people by adding a WhatsApp icon on the panel above the tweet. This direct share button will make it easier for Twitteratis to directly share their Tweets on WhatsApp without the hassle of selecting “Share via WhatsApp” option from the arrow menu.

Twitter has already revamped its profile last month. Furthermore, it may also feature real-time pop-up notification in the near future. While all these new changes are still being tested, to which a limited audience has been granted access, it is nevertheless exciting to see what changes Twitter finally comes up with for its wide base of Android users.
