Nokia 8 Gets Android 8.1 Oreo Beta Update, Fixes Hamburger Emoji, and More

Nokia is all set to upgrade to Android 8.1 Oreo beta for its bestselling smartphone Nokia 8. Not only this, Android Oreo Nokia 8 is now available with several improvements and upgraded settings. This news was officially announced by HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas.

As we know Nokia 8 was initially running on Android 8.0. The new upgraded version of this bestseller enters the tech market with features like revamped settings and power menus. It comes with a Bluetooth battery percentage indicator and correct hamburger emoji.

This new version is available at 1.55 GB and can be accessed by signing up for the beta program where you won’t be given immediate access to a download as the update OTA will be sent to you within 12 hours. This phone further comes with January security patches and latest bug fixes.
