The messaging platform, in use since 2009, boasts of ever-rising popularity. WhatsApp’s official changelog on the AppStore reports ‘Bug Fixes’, but the app has introduced a small number of changes and improvements.

To begin with, this version has deleted all the methods WhatsApp had been studying to prevent spam. So far as group chats are concerned, a user can quote a text from a group he’s no longer a part of by simply tapping on the text and selecting the ‘reply’ option. This will open the chat with the user, and if the user taps on the quoted text, it will automatically open the group chats with the quoted message highlighted.
