Today, February 2, Huawei MediaPad M5 was spotted on GeekBench, and the new tablet of the Chinese brand may be officially launched at the MWC 2018. Let’s have an overview of the expected features so far from the leaks going on around.

Huawei MediaPad M5 bears 8.4-inch and 10.1-inch displays, while likely packing the HiSilicon octa-core Kirin 960 processor. It clocks at 1.84GHz and is coupled with 4GB RAM. Running the EMUI based on Android 8.0 Oreo, it comes off in two variants: SHT-AL09 and SHT-W09 as the model numbers.

For the SHT-AL09, the GeekBench listing provides 1905 points in the single-core test of Huawei’s new tablet. It further received 6617 points in the multi-core test. A fingerprint scanner, CAT. 4 LTE modem, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack are other features we can expect.
