Fans of Xiaomi wait for the release of the Redmi Note 5. One might assert that Xiaomi likes its fans gripping to wait for the release. While there has been no confirmation of the release date, there has been a concatenation of leaks in addition to an alleged 3C certification.

Some of the reports reveal a device with bezels much thinner than what it is on Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. There are photos that reveal that the device has a dual camera setup on the rear with a fingerprint scanner beneath. The phone is also equipped with a Snapdragon 636 processor along with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage. It is featured with 16MP + 5MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. It will also have a 4100mAh battery support for Quick Charge 4.0 around a micro USB port. It will come in different shades as in blue, gray, and black with a price tag of ¥1499 (~$238/€190).
