On Monday, Xiaomi India introduced Mi Bunny, a WhatsApp-based free subscription service for Indian users. Xiaomi, so far, has introduced many innovative services so that users may have a seamless experience. They have previously provided services like order status tracking, product pick-up, and recycling program. Through this new service, users can know about the latest Xiaomi news, new product launches, exciting product deals, notifications about MIUI weekly updates, sale reminders, and reminders about Milan meetups.

To avail of Xiaomi Mi Bunny and its functionalities, users have to add +91776094450 to their contact lists and text ‘Xiaomi’. After that user will get a welcome message from Xiaomi. To notify the users about the upcoming events in their cities, the users need to text their name and city to the number mentioned above.

The company has released an an official announcement mentioning that this new service is still being beta tested and is unavailable with all its functionalities. More functionalities will be available soon once the beta test is complete. The company has assured the users that their names, contact numbers, and location will not be vulnerable to any third party. To unsubscribe from the services, users need to send STOP as a text message on WhatsApp. This new service will help the users to raise support requests too. The users need to send “support” on that very same WhatsApp chat, and the instructions will be given for them to follow. All the user needs to do is, follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

WhatsApp released its business platform to help companies reach global markets. This business platform was debuted globally last year and made available in India only last month. Xiaomi seems to be using this business platform as a leverage to reach the global markets. Xiaomi announced this new service in a long and detailed description on its MIUI forums.
