JBL Boombox speaker, produced by HARMAN International, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, has been launched in India today. The portable Bluetooth speaker, priced at Rs. 34,990, will be available at HARMAN’s eCommerce platform– www.harmanaudio.in, various online and retail channels, and at 350 major Samsung brand stores across in India.

Sumit Chauhan has said about the speaker,

JBL Boombox is an exceptionally exciting and popular product from the house of HARMAN. It provides epic, long-playing sound, setting the standard for power in all future portables in the industry. We’re excited to give consumers in India yet another way to have a powerful audio experience, now in a massively portable package. – Sumit Chauhan, Vice President of Lifestyle Audio Division, HARMAN India

The 20 inches long and 11 pounds speaker has been equipped with four active transducers and two bass radiators, accounting for top-notch sound and bass qualities. Its massive frame does not, however, take away from the speaker its portability. And being IPX7 waterproof, the speaker can be taken outdoors or near beaches and pools without having to worry about getting damaged by water.
