Telegram, the cloud-based messaging service, pushed out a brand new version, namely Telegram 4.8. The new update is a simple and self-explanatory update. It has not come out with too many complications with it like many other updates usually do. The new update features automatic night mode, video streaming, and initial support for Telegram login. These are roughly the first phase of the Telegram ID project, and other features are expected to be released throughout the year.
The new update eliminates the need to download any video. Rather users can watch videos right away. A light grey strip will appear in the progress bar to let users know how much of the content has been cached. It also features a new login widget that allows the users to log in to external websites with their Telegram account.
If you are using Telegram login for the first time, the users are asked to provide their phone numbers, and they will send a confirmation message through the Telegram app to authorize their browser. Once the login is set up properly, the users have to two-click login on every site that supports the widget. After clicking accept, Telegram will send the user’s name, username, and profile picture to the website owner. You need not fear this new system as they would not disclose private information like the mobile number to any third party. The Privacy section sets will provide a list of all the websites where the user is logged in using the profile. The bots that they have will be able to provide the users with customer support and help them accept payment.
The update is already available for Android and very soon the iOS users will get the new update. Telegraph is on its way to be the world’s one of the best messaging platforms.
