Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion
It's a good news for many of you out there. Today, German automaker Volkswagen has unveiled an autonomous, all-electric vehicle which can be controlled via voice commands and doesn't have a steering wheel. The debuted car is named as Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show. The interior of the electric car is redesigned without reflecting a traditional vehicle. The car has no steering wheel and does not have visible controls. The Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion is the fourth member of Volkswagen’s I.D family of vehicles, which is focused on developing electric car technology. The novelty will come with a ‘digital chauffer’, which will have full control of the vehicle, and provide as a virtual host, enabling an interaction between you and the driver via voice or gesture control. It can remember personal preferences of each person who uses the car through a ‘complete embedding into the digital eco-system’. To talk about specifications, the vehicle has a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour or 112 miles per hour. The car has a driving range of 665 km (about 413 miles) which uses 111 kWh lithium batteries when you take account of regenerative braking. The company affirms to introduce 20 electric car models by 2025 and will start putting its I.D. models into production by 2020. It is to start with a compact car and will follow that up with an SUV and a larger sedan.
