Today, February 22, Microsoft announced its new Surface Pro for the Indian markets across retailers and over 130 commercial resellers. As for retail, the likes of online Microsoft stores such as Flipkart and Amazon, along with Reliance, Croma, Vijay Sales and other authorized retailers of the country have received the laptop.

Microsoft defines it as ‘the most versatile laptop,’ and why not with heightened performative scales and enhanced battery life of about 13.5 hours? The laptop bears softer and rounded edges, and cameras mounted into the bezel apparently almost faded.

The Microsoft Surface Pro India is 8.5mm thin and starts at about a weight of 767 grams. It packs a powerful 7th-gen Intel Core i5 processor that incorporates with a fanless and whisper-quiet design. The device as well provides 8GB RAM and 256GB internal.

Additionally, the new Surface Pro India can be termed as a mobile creative studio consisting of high-resolution 12.3 PixelSense touch display, supporting the new Surface Pen that’s said to be the ‘fastest pen ever.’

It doubles the preciseness in terms of pressure sensitivity (4.096 levels) as compared to the same of its predecessor. Among new applications, the Microsoft Whiteboard app makes ways for usage of digital ink in terms of increased productivity and creativity.

The Studio Mode of Surface Pro gets you an adjustable 165 degrees providing ‘optimal position’ for writing or sketching. Furthermore, there is a new tilt functionality for detecting the Surface Pen angle to encourage incremented natural shading. The pen is available in Charcoal and Silver colors.

There is a Signature Type Cover offering qualitative scissor mechanism and “1.3 mm of key travel for faster and more accurate typing.” The trackpad is of full-size glass boarding five-finger multi-touch capabilities. The keyboard has the make of soft and durable Alcantara material, generating palm rest comfort and aesthetic beauty. The cover is available in Black and Platinum colors.
