Huawei has lined up three P20 phones for launch, bearing model numbers FLA-AL00, FLA-AL10, and FLA-AL20 respectively. The lite, regular, and plus-sized devices will probably be marketed as Huawei Nova 3. TENAA has revealed the trio’s specs today which states that the devices will be powered by a Kirin 659 chipset and have four cameras.
The Kirin 659 chipset, powering the devices, has eight CPU cores, clocked at up to 2.36 GHz and hosts Mali-T830 MP2 for a GPU. All the phones have been equipped with a tall 5.93” screen having a Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution. Weighing approximately 170 grams, the phones have a dimension of (157.2 x 75.3 x 7.89) mm.
So far as storage is concerned, FLA-AL00 will have 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the AL10 model will have 4GB RAM and 64GB, and both shall be able to support an additional 256GB storage.
The Nova 3 trio will differ from Huawei’s Nova 2 in their dual selfie camera setup. While a 16 MP primary camera+ 2 MP secondary camera sensors on the front will facilitate functions like artificial background blur, the 13 MP + 2 MP sensors on the phone’s rear will have similar purposes and will be coupled with an LED flash. Each device will also sport a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The phones will run on pre-installed Android 8.0 Oreo (with EMUI 8.0 overlay) and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. With 3900mAh battery, the devices will be available in Gold, Black, and Blue. The launch date is yet to be announced.
