Google Chrome, for the first time ever, has become touch-friendly! The most popular browser with 61.47% of the market share doesn’t seem to stop going ahead of its rivals. For the time being, the new Chrome feature is for Windows 10 2 in 1 device.

Microsoft Edge, with a 4.67% market share, is touch-friendly and, of course, more advanced in this particular feature, despite lagging behind in markets overall. New features like PWA (Progressive Web Apps) along with existing Push Notifications and Service Worker may seem competitive, although!

As for Chrome, Google has added the pull to its Google Chrome Refresh function for the Windows 10 2 in 1 device, which is another part of its latest update. It needs to be manually enabled by the user. Reports from July 2017 said that Chrome would bring this feature soon.

Chrome is further ahead in the game as PWA are already supported. In spite of being under development, for the time being, users can still activate and explore the feature.

New features for Edge are coming in the Redstone 4 update this Spring to fuel the browser battle in markets. Albeit, competing with Chrome seems far-fetched now. Only way remains for Edge now is to come up with loads of highly requested features that may encourage more users to go for it.

Which one do you prefer and use? Tell us in comments below if you are using Edge and what new features would you want to see by this Spring. Stay with us for the next update regarding Chrome and Edge as it surfaces.
