Exynos is a series of ARM-based System-on-Chips (SoCs) developed and manufactured by Samsung Electronics and is a continuation of Samsung’s earlier S3C, S5L, and S5P line of SoCs. Smartphones have become an essential part of our daily lives, and it also helps us remain connected to our loved ones and with million of others spread across the globe in different time zones.

4G, the previous fastest internet connectivity, is a thing of the past now. With the coming of 5G, faster and more accurate data transfer is required among the devices. Samsung is hoping that their development of the System-on-Chips, Exynos, will help them do just that. With the development of the 1.2 gigabits per second modem with 6GA, a 2-hour-long HD movie on a mobile device could be downloaded only in 10 seconds.

In the global market for technologies, Samsung has left its prominent mark. Samsung has been able to manufacture industry-leading performance with its family branded application processors. With the innovation of the chipsets like the big. With LITTLE architecture and the 14 and 10-nanometer processor technologies, Samsung has taken the users’ smartphone experience to another level.

When the Exynos chipset finally came out on the market back in 2015, it gave smartphone manufacturers a freer filed to develop their smartphones with more flexibility in design and of course, inefficiency. Despite the success of Exynos and its proven top of the line performance, there was something missing in that particular field and that just happened to be Code Division Multiple Access or what is popularly known as CDMA. The new Samsung Exynos 7872, the Samsung Exynos SoC, however, can support all 6 communication standards in the market: CDMA, GSM, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, LTE-FDD, and LTE-TDD. This new SoC will help more users of smartphone which will eventually lead to solving many SoC related problems in the future.
