Xiaomi has come up with a new product launch, the Mi TV 4A series in India, with two models: 32-inch and 43-inch. This came within one month of the brand’s launch of the 55-inch Mi TV 4 in the country, providing users with more options to choose from in terms of smart TV.
The two models are specifically India-optimised, and they feature AI-powered PatchWall UI. This smart TV lineup of Xiaomi is named ‘Mi LED Smart TV 4A in India.’ 2017 March saw China first receiving Mi TV 4A, and this year’s launch in India brings the models with several differences.
The 43-inch Mi TV 4A bears a Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with a 178-degree viewing angle and 60Hz refresh rate. Packing 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, the model is carrying Amlogic (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked up to 1.5GHz) processor and Mali-450 MP3 GPU.
Among connectivity options, it supports Wi-Fi, three USB 2.0 ports, three HDMI (one ARC) ports, one AV component port, one Ethernet port, one S/PDIF audio port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack port. The measurements are 970x613x214mm (including base), and the weight is 7.43kg (7.37kg without base).
According to Xiaomi, the model packs DTS-HD and two 10W speakers. The audio has been optimized in terms of loudness, considering the Indian users. It is available with an 11-button Mi remote that can control set-top boxes alongside the TV. The Mi IR cable that should help in the same is priced at Rs.299.
As for the 32-inch model, its HD display supports 1366 x 768 pixels with a viewing angle and refresh rate similar to its 43-inch counterpart. Other similarities between the two models include the processor, RAM, storage, connectivity options, DTS-HD, speakers, remote, cable, and voice control availability. The 32-inch model measures 733x478x180mm (including the base).
The 43-inch smart TV model is priced at Rs. 22,999, and the 32-inch at Rs. 13,999 in India. Both the sets are to go on sale starting coming Tuesday, March 13. The likes of Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores will have the availability.
