The hit novel ‘Ready Player One captured the hearts and minds of millions as it climbed the NYT Bestseller’s list in 2011. On 29th March, virtual reality will further cement its place with the theatrical release of Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.

With the book’s heavy focus on VR, HTC Vive announced eight pieces of virtual reality content inspired by Steven Spielberg’s new action adventure. All of the pieces can be enjoyed on Vive, at home, or at location-based VR arcades across the country, which is also free to download on Viveport with multiple experiences debuting at the South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festival for press and attendees.

The battle for the Oasis by Steel Wool Studios

It focuses on saving the OASIS by defeating waves of IOI Sixers and advancing via the ditch of Planet to the snowy planes that surround Anorak’s Castle.

The rise of the Gunters by Drifter Entertainment, Inc.

Here it is to fight against an invincible army of highly trained IOI Sixers. As you defeat Sixers, find power-ups, collect the coins, and survive a remorseless storming of high-powered action. Battle with the IOI by yourself or with up to two Gunters.

Gauntlet by Directive Games

While the undead seeks to destroy and navigate in the midst of an endless dungeon. To improve your score, collecting gold is needed, and eating food will restore your health, but the main focus is the bow skill that will ensure that you make it out alive.

It is the Globe zero-gravity dance club scene from “Ready Player One.” This will let anyone immerse themselves in the dance club scene with `80s visuals and music. This will be available on The WaveVR’s free app on Steam in the U.S. on March 9.
