BMW is all set to debut the 2019 BMW X4 M40i M Performance at the New York International Auto Show, 2018, being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Manhattan. Apart from the debut car, BMW shall also feature the first-ever BMW X2 and all-new BMW i8 Coupe, both of which made their world debuts in Detroit earlier this year, along with BMW M5, and BMW i8 Roadster, BMW i3s, and BMW X3.
The second generation of BMW X4 M40i M Performance boasts sportier proportions, wider tracks, latest generation suspension settings, a lower center of gravity, and improved aerodynamics. A larger panoramic moonroof and a 3-Zone Climate Control system, hitherto absent in the vehicle, have been added to improve ride comfort and experience.
The vehicle’s inline six-cylinder engine yields a maximum output of 355 hp. With a peak torque of 365 lb-ft, the vehicle accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. The US version of the X4 M40i M Performance has been equipped with M Sports brakes, allowing drivers to enjoy exceptionally dynamic handling with phenomenal stopping power. The car will be made available in summer 2018 in U.S. showrooms for an MRP of $60,450 plus $995 for destination and handling.
