Microsoft has a long history of collaboration with various companies which are reliable. The American Multinational has helped them develop strategies to prepare them for the new European General Data Protection Regulation, or EGDPR.

The regulation will be made available from May 25th, 2018. The company has announced that they have decided to deliver the Microsoft cloud from their data centers located in Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. Microsoft Cloud is officially open in France with the general availability of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365. The Dynamics 365, however, will be available from early 2019.

By delivering Microsoft cloud from data centers in a given geography, Microsoft will continue to fulfill their companies’ data security and compliance needs. However, it will also offer resilient cloud services to reliable companies.

Microsoft had deep local contacts and relationships in the Middle East and wanted to help the public and private institutions meet the tremendous growth and technological innovation that is taking place in the country and worldwide. The giant has deepened its expertise in the Middle East, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The corporation intends to be the first global cloud operator to introduce cloud regions in Switzerland in the cantons of Geneva and Zurich. They are also expanding the cloud service options in Germany. The two new regions will help provide companies with enterprise-grade reliability combined with data residency within Germany.

In France, Microsoft has been able to empower Naval Energies, Astrimmo, and Ercom. Already existing Microsoft office 365 customers will be able to opt-in to be moved to the local cloud regions in France starting from March 14th, 2018.

Microsoft delivers the broadest set of compliance certifications and attestations in the industry and in the last 3 years they have doubled the number of Azure regions available.
