At the ISE 2018 held early in February, Samsung came up with a pack of SMART signage solutions to transform the future of the shopping experience for consumers. Today, we came to know more about the capabilities of these solutions. The solutions are dedicated to the shopping sectors of the hypermarket, fashion, and F&B (Food and Beverage).
The service of omnichannel that allows users to convenient shopping across online and offline platforms support the SMART signage ‘Magnifico’ solution. The objectives are to provide customer-tailored analysis and interaction with them right in the stores. Samsung ISE 2018 event exhibited the potential of the integration across the shopping sectors.
Magnifico is applicable in enhancing hypermarket searching as well. On the other hand, Near Field Communication or NFC tags have become central to hypermarkets providing shopping info to customers. Combining the two with store sensors will help recognize customer faces that’ll lead to providing tailored ads based on customer info on the signage screens.
It is the same for shopping sectors of fashion and cosmetics, and F&B. Signages can display relevant information on the products, cosmetics styles, ingredients and nutrition details for food, and of course, price. Last but not least, customers, after completing their shopping, can go for easy checkout.
The Korean firm is coming up with more innovative Samsung SMART signage solutions in the near future. As they put it: “the scalability is limitless.” The times are coming where the entire shopping experience (that we have an idea for today) is going to evolve for the better with Samsung smart shopping, aiming to be more convenient for users and marketers.
