Apple released an advertising Ad today named ‘iPhone X – Unlock – Apple’ that shows off the speed of the Face ID on the smartphone. Unfortunately, the video reveals the iOS 11 bug in the Apple ad. It is not exactly harmful, but definitely embarrassing, given the brand is Apple.

Just about 50 seconds into the Apple iPhone X Ad, a new message comes up via iMessages on the smartphone’s lock screen. This message escapes the animation bubble in the first instance, and then the bubble apparently catches up in the background message!

It may not be evident right in the first go, and you might have to pause and understand! Instead of the last message appearing before, it should be the animation bubble coming down carrying the message on itself!

Users have come across this bug beforehand, and it seems that Apple is reproducing the ad again. Alongside this, the ad video itself is fabulously created with complimentary background music from ‘Bang Bang’ by Pete Cannon.

While this does not seem harmful to the iMessage app and the user experience, there have been several other issues in the past few months in iOS 11. These range from strange UI glitches in music apps to horizontal and vertical screen switching problems.

Fortunate for the iPhone fans is that reports are circulating with Apple focusing on reliability and performance in iOS 12! We’ll only have to wait for a confirmed timeline. Stay with us for the next update as it surfaces.
