The famous activity tracking watch makers Fitbit released a new update to Windows 10 UWP app. This new update elevated the app to 2.31.1479. However, this new support which will be provided by the update is for Fitbit Versa which is Fitbit’s smaller and cheaper version of the smartwatch. Fitbit has specially designed the Fitbit Versa for the mass market.
Fitbit Versa comes with a more attractive aluminum body that is only 11.2 mm thick. It has got a 1.34 inches LCD screen, 4 GB storage capacity and the battery comes with 145 mAh power. The target market for this Fitbit Versa are women since it is more attractive than its previous versions. It is priced at $199 which is cheaper than the other versions.
Fitbit Windows 10 UWP app regularly updates allows the app to add new features and new support for their Fitbit hardware. The update adds new features and functionalities for their fitness trackers, smartwatch and smart scale (Fitbit Aria 2). Fitbit is still continuing with their partnership with Microsoft. This is a very smart move on part of the American based company Fitbit since Microsoft has a huge market worldwide.

However, it is quite shocking to see that no new features have been added in the new update. Just some unnamed bug fixes and optimizations. Fitbit Coach which is a new app is a streaming workout app that connects to the main Fitbit service which keeps track of the fitness tracking and data syncing.
