After Twitter launched its revamped Progressive Web App for Windows 10, it is now the first developer to do so, and in turn, it has updated its old UWP application with new features. But, with its hoard of new features and enhancements, this new PDA lacked some of the good stuff the older UWP had and had a few bugs. Twitter is rolling out a bunch of successive updates, of which the present one is the harbinger, which will help to improve the situation by leaps and bounds.

First of all, the bug that opened up a review request every time someone opened the app is now taken care of. The awkward EU cookie permission dialog box problem is now also solved. It will now remember your decision with one input.

Finally, the best feature, that of being able to paste images from the clipboard into a tweet, which was missing in the first version, is now re-added, thanks to user complaints. It’s amazing that all of these changes could take place without submitting an app update in the Microsoft Store by Twitter. inc. This unique feature of PWA allows automatic application of the changes made to an app at the developer-end without going through an entire app update in the store. So apps can be updated much faster than before, which helps both developers and users.

As an added incentive, the PWA runs irrespective of platform; updates once made can be used across Windows 10, Android, iOS and any other supported platform. There are talks of new features getting added across the next few weeks, such as adding video uploads, live tile support and more.

The new Twitter PWA is now available on the upcoming Spring Creators Update.
