Microsoft Enables Digital Payments Services on Kaizala in India with YES BANK

Today, April 3, Microsoft enabled digital payments on its Kaizala in India by using the mobile payment infrastructure of YES BANK and Mobikwik. Microsoft Kaizala ensures receiving and sending money quickly without the need to leave the app.

Kaizala ensures easy peer-to-peer payments in one-to-one as well as group chat conversations via the wallet of Mobikwik and via YES BANK’s UPI integration. The UPI integration on Kaizala is compatible with all 86 participating banks in UPI.

Kaizala, dedicated as a mobile-only app, aims to make the Firstline workforce more productive. A big number of the 1.9 billion such workers worldwide is based in India. The new enabling of digital payments provides to complete business workflows via chat with payments. Disbursing micro-payments, enabling bill expense reimbursements, and paying travel allowances on the go is now possible for the Firstline workers.

Kaizala, launched in July 2017, has been given 2G capability for remote locations. Getting onboard to its platform is as easy as providing your phone number, which becomes your unique ID. More than 900 companies, including YES BANK and State Bank of India, are using the app that can be availed for free on Android, iOS, and Windows phones.
