Asus announces its new gaming laptop ROG G703 that’s claimed as the most powerful one by the brand. It offers supreme features to back the claim! ROG stands for Republic of Gamers, which is indicative enough of Asus’ dedication to gaming devices.

The device showcases 17.3-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 display, and a 6-core 4.79 GHz Intel Core i9 (8950HK) “Coffee Lake” processor. The scores in Geekbench are usually high for this processor, with over 5600 for single-core and over 20,000 for multi-core. Running Windows 10, Asus ROG G703 surpasses these scales!

Packing 8GB RAM, it has an inbuilt memory of 64GB of DDR4 SDRAM (2666 MHz). It is as well hosting the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. The device bears a 144 MHz refresh rate on the display, like its slower predecessor with Intel Core i7.

Lucky buyers will enjoy the following additional features: hybrid storage with 1.5TB SSD + 2TB SSHD storage, Gigabit WiFi, Thunderbolt 3, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.0!

The price is approx $3499, Asus ROG G703 is open for pre-orders starting today, April 4. It has a release date of April 16.

The other two gaming laptops of Asus are of the ROG Zephyrus M GM501 lineup: GSXS74 and GMWS74. Both are featuring 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) AHVA IPS-type panel with anti-glare and packing Intel Core i7-8750H, up to 3.9GHz on all 6 cores.

XS74 is running Windows 10 Pro with  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB and WS74 is running Windows 10 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB.

ROG Zephyrus M is further bearing 16GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB onboard memory with 1TB FireCuda SSHD. The laptops are featuring 4-cell Li-on batteries. They are dubbed as competitively thin (15.1 x 10.3 x 0.7~0.78 inches) and lightweight (2.45kg or 5.5lbs).

Priced at $2199 and $1899 respectively for XS74 and WS74, the pre-orders have begun starting today. Mid-April, most likely April 16 is the release date alongside ROG G703.
