The Toolbar, introduced a month ago by SwiftKey , enabled users to customize stickers and messages. Many new features and exclusive content were found in the Toolbar. And now Microsoft’s intelligent keyboard SwiftKey gets an update in stickers to make the chats more personalized and interesting.

Swiftkey Halo Sticker AndroidSome sticker packs can be edited before being inserted. These edited Stickers can be saved and accessed later from the “Collections,” which can be accessed via the “pin” icon on the Toolbar. The “Collections” is a place to store personalized and favorite stickers, media, and edited photos that can be used at any time. The new sticker collection includes Halo sticker packs. It is also the first time Halo Stickers are being available on Android. In the pack, there will be eight stickers totally exclusive to SwiftKey for Android users, and to provide more amusement, there will be a set of animated and non-animated stickers.

SwiftKey also announced more features to be released soon, which include location sharing (available in US and India), to allow users to quickly insert the address of their current location and Calendar sharing for users to insert a calendar appointment in a couple of taps.

People are using more and more GIFs, stickers and emojis. Our research shows that 77 percent of Indian smartphone users insert stickers at least several times a week. The objective of SwiftKey 7.0 is to make these faster and easier than ever before. Toolbar makes that possible, as well as offering more personalized content that SwiftKey users can store in Collections. – Chris Wolfe, Principal Product Manager, SwiftKey

SwiftKey’s new features are added due to the increased popularity of media messaging. Reports say that users now send over two billion emojis per week, around 1/3 use emojis on any given day, and the use of emojis continues to rise, with 20 percent more being used now than 12 months ago. Also, the number of GIFs being sent on SwiftKey has increased 10 percent over the past six months. Apart from that, all new and existing non-core typing features will sit in Toolbar, providing the same fast and easy access to GIFs and Stickers as Settings, Themes, and Clipboard.

A selection of 24 of Skype’s animated emoticons will also be found along with the Halo Stickers.  This is the first time that any of the animated emoticons will be available on Skype. Download the latest version of SwiftKey from Google Play Store to enjoy the new features.
