It’s time for a new edition of Games with Gold for the Xbox One family of devices.
Super Mega Baseball 2 releases on May 1, whereas Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain arrives 15 days later, on May 16. Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage and Vanquish will be available via Backward Compatibility on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Xbox Live Gold members can access these games for a limited time. Super Mega Baseball 2
The Super Mega Baseball series is back with its latest installment. Apart from gorgeous new visuals, deep team and league customization, and online multiplayer modes, this version lets the player start as either a rookie or baseball purist. There is the provision for competing in ranked matchmaking (1v1), arranged matches (1v1, 2v1, 2v2), and against AI (solo, local co-op, online co-op). All of these are maintained by the dynamic difficulty system, Ego.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Powered by the Fox Engine, MGSV, The Phantom Pain promises a first-rate gaming experience. The player is given the tactical freedom to carry out open-world missions. The player can opt for any unique way to achieve victory. The game provides jeeps, tanks, and horses. There is an AI companion to guide, as well.
Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage
The player joins Axel, Blaze, and company on their mission against evil Mr. X. The battle takes place across all three Streets of Rage games. It’s a simple game. The user has to earn all-new achievements – challenging new game trials, competing with other players across Xbox Live Leaderboards, and cleaning up the streets with a friend in two-player local and online co-op.
Vanquish
This fast and fluid sci-fi shooter game lets the user play as Sam Gideon, a DARPA agent armed with the Augmented Reaction Suit (ARS), in a frantic combat system. The mission is to evade attacks and take down enemies. The ARS gives Sam extraordinary combat power. On taking too many hits, the ARS allows Sam to slow time down.
